Sadly the flying squirrel season is going to be short this month. The tree cutters have removed most of the cypress seed balls when ‘trimming’. And they wonder why nature is stressed! Take a look at humans!!

For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, tree cutting has begun. A sad day for me since I have been watching their growth for ten years. A beautiful canopy of green expanded in every possible corner. Just as we need to lighten up, toss out the old, and let go of things held dearly, the trees need a break from the weight of holding on.
