Post hurricane update

Yes, we are fine. All good.

I have experienced hurricanes since the early 70s and been in all the big ones over the decades.

Every year I am asked ‘why don’t you move’ or ‘when are you getting out of there’?

This is my soft place to land. It is where I am connected to my soul. The land is my spirit. The people are open and loving just as I am. The area reflects living in harmony with the earth. It is the land of kindred spirits.

I have noticed words sent to me and observed their source. Stepping back and asking ‘why is this being said’, ‘why the reach out’, and ‘what is the purpose’?

Many times the source is fear of loss, struggle, insecurity, or the unknown.

Disasters are very important markers in our life to assess what is truly driving us to engage in the world around us. They also challenge us to validate what we may believe is important in life to uphold the vision you call your life.

This is my soft place to land. This is my heart and soul. I am supported here by forces of compassion and caring. I am clear with what life is and what is needed to sustain life. This place allows for the free spirit to exist in all its joy.

It is also the place of souls, ashes of eons gone by, and ethers of ancient civilizations. As I can connect with the energy of dimensions of time, my open engagement supports my every breath.

As I have shared for decades “life is one breath, everything else is lagniappe”!

Perhaps this is a time to reflect on your life and how you are supported by your soft place to land.
