Dr. Jeanette Gallagher welcomes Tim Mulligan, author of Snitchland, to explore how to make your voice heard and why you should from his Witchland World Trilogy.
An illustrated graphic novel to pull out of you the time to wake up and see what is going on in the world around you is what Tim has created. How do you become an activist of a singular problem you see in the world?
Are we in a cosmic sleep, walking through like zombies, and allowing everything around us to affect and control us? Have you opened up your mouth and yelling from the mountain top to then have death threats and loss of work or family?
Do we have free will? Can we speak up? What happens when our sense of safety and security are at risk and the powers that be are after you in all aspects of your life?
Do we have a world that we have come to expect that is safe and we have farmed out the safety to the companies, businesses, and environmental as they report of their work?
What happens when we start to voice our concerns about outcomes, sickness, damage, and release of toxins in our local area? Do we hide and let others take care of things? Do we point the finger and tell others it is their responsibility to fix things? Perhaps, we make our voice known and then give up because nothing gets done. What now?
What are you willing to accept the status quo to keep a job, live in a certain land, and purchase certain products? Why?
