Gratitude: what is it? Being thankful for something received? Does it always have to be from someone else? Is it material? Can you ‘hang your hat’ on it? Is it tangible? Is it a mystery?
On my recent radio show, I spoke with Lorraine Miller of Nourish by Nature, author of “From Gratitude to Bliss” and we shared what gratitude is and is not. Her book is wonderful for getting started to find gratitude in your life. Do not worry if you do not know what to write or if you hate to journal. This book is quick, sit down, put the date on the page, enter about three sentences and close the book. Simple; what you write is just for you.
I would challenge you to start the writing and when finished with the book, look back at the beginning of your writings. Have you seen any change in your life? Are things a little bit better? Are you happier or are there some other things in your life that now need work?
Take two minutes per day and see what is important to you; write it down!
