Have you lost a spouse to divorce, death or other life event? Think your life is over? Whoa!! Life is not over until your last breath so time to live it up a little and get back out there into life again. Yes, I know, you feel old, over 40, 50 or even 60, right? Well, I won’t pull the wool over your eyes; my 60-year-old legs cannot compete with my 21-year-old daughter’s in being man’s eye candy. However, if that is the type of man who is looking for that, I hope he does not turn his head my way, I know better, I am confident in myself, and he needs to buzz on by. Can you say that about yourself? We encourage you to learn how to open up and be who you are, Birkenstocks and all.
My radio show guest’s: Amy Sherman and Rosalind Sedacca, authors of ‘“99 things Women Wish They Knew Before Dating After 40, 50, and Yes, 60!” Shared a lively discussion of what women are experiencing these days as they seek to step out into life again. We laughed and reminisced about our own experiences while sharing tips to be aware of in the new dating scene.
Amy and Rosalind have a free e-book on their website found here and many other tips to keep you safe as the world has moved on and you need to jump on in. If you are starting to date over 50 and 60, it does not always have to be with the intent to marry; companionship and love are also available. To have a fun person to enjoy life with, someone to nudge you on to adventures you may not leap at, would be a great way to while away the hours of joy in your life. Leave no stone unturned, bring your bulldozer and experience fun with someone you feel connected to.
